🌟 Annual Progress Report 2023-2024 🌟
Here’s a glimpse of the incredible journey at Vishwa Nirmala Prem Ashram this year:
Total number of girls in the ashram: 49
Age group: 5 to 8 years
Background: Girls come from underprivileged families, each with unique attitudes and behaviors.
Adjustment: It took time for them to settle in and bond with each other, but they eventually formed a close-knit community.
A well-structured timetable ensures a balanced day for the girls, including:
Wake-up time 🌅
Meditation 🧘♀️
Meals 🍽️
School time 🏫
Study time 📚
Evening homework classes ✍️
Games and activity classes 🎨⚽
Cultural Programs: Girls learn dancing, singing bhajans, and participate in Sahaja Yoga competitions, quizzes, painting, and poetry events.
Meditation Leadership: Each girl gets a chance to lead evening meditation sessions.
Sahaja Classes: Regular sessions by Sahaja yoginis, focusing on Shri Mataji’s teachings, bhajans, and meditation.
Sports: Girls won medals in National Soft Hockey, National Bocce, and State Athletics. 🥇
Tuition & Activities: Teachers provide tuition, activity classes, and cultural program training.
Educational Progress: All girls passed their exams and moved to higher classes. 📖✨
Gardening: Girls actively participate in gardening, planting medicinal and fruit plants. This year, they harvested plenty of apples from 3 apple trees and planted 100 Elaichi plants along the boundaries. 🌳🍎
Cooking: On weekends, girls enjoy cooking and learning new recipes. 🍳
Decoration: Dorm aunties conduct activity classes where girls create beautiful decorative items.
Festive Celebrations: All Pujas are celebrated with enthusiasm. Girls themselves handle Puja and stage decorations at the Health Centre and attend Pujas at Nirmal Dham. 🪔🎊
Schools: Girls attend English medium and Hindi medium schools based on their background.
Young ones are admitted to English medium schools.
Hindi medium students continue in Hindi schools.
Transportation is provided by buses and vans, with aunties or didis accompanying nearby school-goers. 🚍
Higher Education: Girls study up to the 12th standard and are encouraged to pursue professions like beauty parlors, computers, accountancy, or tailoring based on their interests. 💻✂️
Post-Ashram Support: The NGO helps them settle into jobs or marriages after leaving the ashram. 💼💍
This year, the NGO supported 2 destitute women:
One learned tailoring and is now settled.
The other learned computers and secured a job. 💪👩💻
For fun and learning, girls were taken to:
Medicinal Park, Noida 🌱
City Park Carnival 🎠
Omaxe Mall, Greater Noida 🛍️
The year 2023-2024 was a resounding success! 🎉
All girls passed their exams and progressed to higher classes.
They grew academically, creatively, and spiritually, becoming confident and capable individuals.
Here’s to another year of growth, learning, and empowerment! 🌈✨
🙏 Thank you for your continued support! 🙏
